La Playstation 4 avec un processeur Intel ?

(Japon) La Playstation 3 décolle enfin dans les ventes après 3 ans. Pour les développeurs de jeux, le processeur Cell, est très efficace mais plus difficile à exploiter que ceux des consoles concurrentes. À tel point que Sony entend changer de cap pour sa prochaine console en intégrant un multi-cœur de chez Intel.
Le processeur Cell, connu pour offrir en théorie des performances très élevées, a été développé par Sony, IBM et Toshiba. Malheureusement pour ce processeur, de nombreux développeurs se sont plaints de difficultés relatives à en tirer toute sa puissance, ce qui handicape la console Playstation 3 et les studios de développement (coûts plus élevés pour tout le monde).
Ainsi, Sony envisage de passer, pour sa prochaine console, à un micro-processeur multi-coeur Intel. La PS3 étant sortie fin 2006 et début 2007, on ne risque pas de voir une PS4 pointer le bout de son nez avant 2012, voire 2013, à cause de la débâcle d'entrée de jeu.

Hello! I really loved all of your ideas into this sujecbt matter. Certainly way more folks must speak about it. Hopefully this elevates the awareness a bit. Again, great article. I spoke to my other half with regards to the idea and he entirely is of the same opinion. On the other hand,the final point you formulated appeared to be not apparent to us.
